At 0900 AM, Our Chauffeur will pick you up from hotel in Ahmedabad in an air-conditioned car. The full day Ahmedabad tour will begin from Akshardham Temple (Monday Closed). The temple is situated in Gandhinagar which is near Ahmedabad and also the capital city of Gujarat. The grand temple is built in the memory of Lord Swaminarayana. The temple has five separate halls displaying informative exhibitions about Hindu heritage and universal values.

The next place we will go to is Sidi Saiyyed Mosque counted among famous mosques of Ahmedabad. The whole mosque is constructed in the form of an arc. The latticework done at several places is eye-catching especially ‘the tree of life’ steals the show. The intricate stone carvings are astonishing and reflect the invincible talent and dedication of the artists back then.

Afternoon having Lunch at local restaurant.

After Lunch, we will further move towards our next destination Hutheesing Jain Temple. The Temple is dedicated to Dharmanatha, 15th Jain Tirthankar and is best known of Ahmedabad’s ornate Jain Temples. We will continue our city tour visiting Gandhi Ashram. Gandhi ji spent several years of his life in this Ashram located on the banks of Sabarmati River. This ashram was Gandhi’s headquarter during the long struggle for Indian independence. The Ashram has peaceful surroundings circled by greenery of trees nested by birds and squirrels on it. The serenity of the place offering a scenic view of the river will captivate you.

Later we will drive to ‘Adalaj Step Well’, an architectural wonder built by Queen Rudabai. The innovative architecture is seven stories deep and was used to get relief from the scorching sun in the summers. As you step down the stairs, you will experience the surprising drop in temperature. You will also see the fine designs carved on the walls while stepping down and are irresistible to capture. It is certainly one of the finest monuments of Gujarat.

Our Ahmedabad city tour will terminate here by dropping you safely back to the hotel.
