Mysterious Death of the crocodile
In 1945, one British soldier shot dead the crocodile, but soon after the death of the first crocodile, another crocodile appeared in the tank.
The soldier who killed the crocodile was dead within a few days after the death of crocodile by a snake-bite. There is one more interesting tale about the guardian crocodile.

Once a true devotee of Lord Vishnu, name Sree Vilvamangalathu Swami was doing penance for his deity Lord. While he was doing prayer, Lord Krishna comes in the embodiment of a little boy and start teasing him.
The saint got angry and pushed the boy and immediately the boy disappeared into the cave, the entrance of which is still guarded by the crocodile.
