Basilica de Bom Jesus: Recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, this old church is popular in the Roman Catholic world. It holds the remains of missionary Saint Francis Xavier. The church is around 400 years old and has precious stones carving.

Known for its diversity, Goan food includes fish curries, fruit rice and other seafood. A unique blend of Portuguese heritage and traditional Indian cooking is seen in the food of Goa. There are plenty of restaurants, vendors, shacks that will provide you authentic Goan food.
