Israeli PM, Benjamin Netanyahu Will Visit the Iconic Taj Mahal on 16 Jan 2018

When a nation is identified by one monument, then that monument is more than just a travel destination. This holds true for the magnificent Taj Mahal that sits beautifully on the banks of River Yamuna. This marvel by Shah Jahan has attracted everyone from writers to politicians.
The magic of the tomb was such that writers like Rabindranath Tagore, Rudyard Kipling could not stop themselves from portraying its beauty in their own words. Rabindranath Tagore said that “The Taj Mahal rises above the banks of the river like a solitary tear suspended on the cheek of time”.
By the Magic of this iconic structure (Taj Mahal) has not only stunned writers but even Politicians. The recent example of this is Israel Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu, who is planning to visit Agra on 16 January 2018. The Israeli leader is coming on a six-day visit to India to sign crucial agreements on energy, cybersecurity and space cooperation and film production.
At 11 am, the Israeli Prime Minister along with his wife and a delegation will reach Kheria air base by a special plane. He will be received by UP CM Yogi Adityanath. Post this, they will head to the hotel together by road. Subsequently, the leader along with his wife and delegate will head to Taj Mahal in golf carts.
The point to note here is that even on such a tight schedule, the Israeli Prime Minister has made time out for visiting Taj Mahal. Even Barack Obama’s itinerary included Taj Mahal when he visited India in 2016.
But, he had to cancel his visit due to the untimely death of the King of Saudi Arabia.
The President, later on, showed regret for the same. Likewise, Bill Clinton also made time to visit Taj Mahal in the year 2015.He finds the monument so beautiful that he mentioned about it in his autobiography “My Life”.
Like Clinton and others, this time Israeli Prime Minister will visit Taj Mahal on January 16.The stage is set for his arrival, no magistrates can leave Agra on Tuesday without permission as directed by the district administration. Even the senior state-level officials are likely to camp in the city of Taj on Tuesday.
